Transforming the Flying Gecko: A Bold New Experience at Noah’s Ark Waterpark In 2023, Noah’s Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells took an exciting step to revamp one of its classic attractions. The former Flying Gecko water slide underwent a striking transformation, emerging as the newly rebranded Chameleon, an immersive ride experience enhanced with cutting-edge light and sound technology.
The revitalization project was a collaboration between Baynum Amusement Solutions, which expertly repainted the slide with a fresh and vibrant look, and iSlide, which brought the attraction to life with a state-of-the-art lighting and sound package.

At the heart of the transformation is the ColorMagic lighting system, delivering dazzling, synchronized light shows that shift and react dynamically as riders speed through the slide. Complementing this visual spectacle is TubeSound XL, an advanced audio system that immerses riders in a thrilling soundscape, enhancing the excitement and anticipation throughout the journey.

To further elevate the guest experience, iSlide integrated a sensor-controlled Red Light, Green Light system, ensuring perfect ride timing and enhancing safety while adding an interactive element. This intelligent system optimizes dispatch flow and creates a seamless, engaging experience for every rider.
With its bold new identity, Chameleon has become a must-ride attraction, setting a new standard for slide rebranding and reinforcing Noah’s Ark Waterpark’s commitment to delivering unforgettable thrills.
